Ask about unresolved endometriosis pain at every visit
Nearly 1 out of 3 endometriosis patients have a hard time expressing just how much pain they’re still in1*
*Results of a US market research survey of diagnosed endometriosis patients (n=336).
After a thorough initial evaluation and diagnosis, ask her about unresolved pain during and outside of her period at every visit2-5
When endometriosis pain goes unresolved despite management, it may be time to reassess6-8:
ASK
specific questions at every office visit
- How does your pain affect your life?
- How often are you in pain at work or school?
LISTEN
for all signs and symptoms
- What kind of pain do you experience?
- Is the pain just during your period or at other times?
- Do you experience pain during sex?
RE-EVALUATE
action plans frequently
- How has your pain been since our last visit?
- How are you feeling on this treatment?
- Has your pain lessened, or have you just grown accustomed to it?
